Privacy
What this website collects, what happens to a message you send us, and the outside services the site uses.
Last updated: October 1, 2026. This page covers this website, run by Troy's Landscape Supply Co., Inc., 1266 New Loudon Rd, Cohoes, NY 12047.
The short version
- This website has no accounts, no online ordering and no online payments.
- The website itself sets no cookies and runs no advertising. We count visits anonymously, as explained below; visitors are not followed from one day to the next or onto other websites. The lettering and the map come from Google, which is explained below.
- We only learn who you are if you contact us, and we use what you send to answer you.
- We do not sell or rent information you send us through this website.
If you contact us
The form on the Visit & Contact page opens your own email program with your message filled in; nothing is stored on this website. When you send that email, call us, or email us directly, we receive what you choose to tell us — usually your name, phone number, email address and what you are looking for. We use it to answer your question, prepare a quote, hold an item, or arrange a delivery, and we keep it with our ordinary business records. Our email is provided by Google.
What the hosting company records
Like nearly every website, the company that hosts this site keeps routine technical logs of visits: the internet address of the device, the pages requested, the date and time, and the type of browser. We use these only to keep the site running and secure. The hosting company also gives us anonymous visit counts: which pages were viewed, the website a visitor came from, the country, and the type of device and browser. This counting uses no cookies and stores no personal information. We also count how often the Call button and the ZIP-code checker are used, without any detail of who used them. The delivery ZIP-code checker and the bulk-material calculator work inside your browser; what you type into them is not sent to us.
Outside services this site uses
- Google Fonts supplies the lettering. Your browser fetches the font files from Google.
- Google Maps supplies the map on the Visit & Contact page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
- Links to Facebook, Instagram and the manufacturers we carry take you to their websites, which have their own privacy practices.
Children
This website is meant for adults shopping for their homes and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If the website changes — for example, if we add an online contact form that sends messages directly, or visitor statistics — we will update this page and the date at the top.
